What I truely hate about English lessons, is that teachers feel the need to tear apart poetry, into tiny pieces and analyse every word said. How the full stop at the end of my last point is showing the emotion I have and the emphasis on what I said! The exclaimation mark shows just how much this subject raises my temperature. Poetry is beautiful as it is.
As an analogy, in biology we dissect frogs to understand how they work. To dissect the frog, you have to kill it first. In movies, you don't think, ghosts aren't real, nor are zombies, 'cause that just kills the storyline.
Same with love, why question how it works, you can feel it and that's enough.

God I hate it so much too. Same with books as well - they don't have political or religious deep and hidden meanings, they're stories for christ's sake!
ReplyDeleteYeah open to your own interpretation, dont fucking tell me what it means MRS CLIFTON! >:/
ReplyDeleteBut you see Gabbi, I can tell from what you just said that you have an aversion to english, its teachers, and their ANALysing, and yet on a different level (and there are a few, i could write an essay on this sentence) you have a love of stories, the exclaimation mark also shows youre emphatic on this point and also perhaps a little angry at the school system and feel the need to change it and rebel though expression in writing. gosh.
Mmm and I can tell from your swearing in the above comment that you feel extrememly strongly on this subect, perhaps particularly towards you teacher as you refer to her in the same sentence.
ReplyDelete>:| hate it. so much.
I can tell from the modern text language emoticon of a displeased, unamused and slightly angry face, that you are in fact displeased, unamused and slightly angry with the previous point of conversation, yet do not feel you are displeased unamused or angry with the person you are talking to.
ReplyDeleteI can also see from the word hate, that you truely deeply dispise the way english lessons work, hate is a very strong word. also, i can see from your short sentences with full stops that you try and emphasise and dramatise such matters.
pahahahahaha. english has done this to me. O_O
